Handmade Soaps

These bars are approximately 4 oz. but vary in final weight due to the hand cutting process.

It is best to place soap/shampoo bars in a soap tray that allows air circulation around the bar for greater longevity. If the bar of soap sits in a tray it will tend to not last as long. Just a note.

Saponification is the process of making soap. This process uses some sort of fat or oil, sodium hydroxide (lye), and water in specific amounts to create soap. In general, all hardened or cold-process soap is made this way. Our soaps are left to harden for over 4 weeks which results in a final product with no lye. We use 100% organic oils, distilled water, and top quality food-grade lye for our soaps. 100% certified organic essential oils are used for ultimate skin care and natural fragrance. Other natural ingredients (for exfoliation) are often combined as beneficial additives for specific skin types. No fragrance oils or palm oils are used in our soaps.
